Many of our regular customers have been asking about traditional child resistant containers for several weeks now. Well, you ask and we deliver. Lacontainer now features Clarke Container vials which are available in two child resistant styles. The first is a push and turn prescription vial used in most pharmacies and drugstores. This is a proven design in use for many years. If having a container that is child resistant is important to you, then this is the perfect solution. We also now have available Clarke Container green neck vials which are not as common as the push and turn style but just as safe. These green neck vials have a tab that needs to be turned to alignment with a pair of markings on the neck before they can be popped open. Both styles are currently only available in the traditional UV Amber color. Purple Pop Top Containers

The newest addition to our pop top containers line of colors will be a transparent violet. That will give you a total of six different colors to choose from. Those colors include clear polypropylene, transparent green, transparent amber, semi-transparent blue, transparent red, and the newest, transparent violet.

All of these containers are manufactured here in the USA with FDA compliant clarified polypropylene. The above listed colors are in stock and ready to ship, with the exception of the purple or transparent violet. We have received several calls from our customers asking if our containers contained BPA or if we manufacture BPA-free containers. BPA or bisphenol-A for those of you who don’t know, is a chemical that is used to make epoxy resins and polycarbonate plastics. This chemical has been somewhat controversial because at certain temperatures it has been found to leach out of the packaging and into water, drinks, and food products in very small amounts. Although it currently seems the jury is still out on whether or not BPA leaching can cause harm when consumed, many consumers would rather be safe than sorry.

Lacontainer Inc. manufactures many polyethelyene containers and polypropylene containers that are BPA free. Those would include Lacons, Lavials, Microvials, Flexatop, Nucons, and Polyvials. Most of our products are currently manufactured with food grade polypropylene and polyethylene plastics that, to the best of our knowledge do not contain BPA as an addative. The styrene and CAS/BAS containers, may/may not contain BPA. Check the MSDS/spec sheet for these materials. ANTI STATIC  CONTAINERS 

Protect your electronic components from typical electromagnetic interference (EMI).. electrostatic or induced fields with our  static dissipative and conductive containers. The conductive material provides a barrier which these fields cannot penetrate and prevents the build up of electrostatic charges. Our containers are permanently conductive/static dissipative and are unaffected by washing with normal cleaners. Molded with  carbon filled co-polymer polypropylene material with an electrostatic decay rate at less than 0.1 second that meets military specification Mil-B-81075B.  with surface resistivity is less than 10 Ohms-per square.
